The guys over at Sick Marketing are an amazing bunch.  They offer a program that allows you to submit backlinks via “packets” (lists of places to submit links), via profile links, bookmark links, blog comment links, RSS links, directory links, and article directory links.  All the possible and diverse places you can submit links for your website to get them ranking in the search engines.  Having diversity in your backlinking campaign is incredibly important.  If you really want your site to rank #1 for it’s term you need to be hitting all the places that you possibly can.

Sick Link Checker

Sick Link Checker was created to check if your link appears on a set of web pages.

With the Sick Link Checker you can find the “stick rate” for any particular link building campaign.

To Install:

  • Download from the link above
  • Save the exe someplace you will remember
  • Run the exe

To Run a Back Link Check:

  • Your Sites – Large Lists: You can load a large list of sites your checking for from a .txt file (one URL per line) by pressing the load sites button and selecting the file
  • Your Sites – Small List: You can type a small list of URL’s your checking for in the text field below the load box
  • Your Backlinks: You Load your list of backlinks to be checked by pressing the Load Backlinks button and loading a txt file (one URL per line)
  • The Sick Link Checker will default to checking your sites against the base URL
  • If you want to check for the exact URL in Your sites select “Check exact URL” – Note: http:// , http://www. will be treated differently by selecting this
  • Select the number of threads for the Sick Link Checker to use. – Note: to many threads can cause timeouts which will show as a fail
  • Press Start

Exporting Back Link Check Results:

  • To Export to File: Press Export to File then Select Found Links or Not Found Links
  • To Copy to Clipboard: Press Copy to clipboard then Select Found Links or Not Found Links

To Run a Index Check:

  • Your Sites – Large Lists: You can load a large list of sites your checking for from a .txt file (one URL per line) by pressing the load sites button and selecting the file
  • Your Sites – Small List: You can type a small list of URL’s your checking for in the text field below the load box
  • Check the “Check if indexed” box
  • Decide if you want to Check Google, Bing or Both by checking the appropriate boxes

Sick Platform Reader

Sick Platform Reader was created to parse the many available backlink packets into managable lists to help automate your link building experience.

It can also be used on a scraped list of your competitors backlinks to see if they are targeting any specific platforms to achieve their rankings.

Once the Platforms are parsed out you can add them to a the List Wizard in order to automatically submit your links to those sites.

The Sick Platform Reader parses both .txt files and .pdf files.

To Install:

  • Download from the link above
  • Un-zip SickPlatformReader.zip to your desktop or other location. (note: the location)
  • Create a shortcut to your desktop for Platform Reader.exe (so you can find it easy in the future)

To Run:

  • Open the folder SickPlatformReader.
  • Double Click PlatformReader.exe to open
  • Select your file to parse for links. This file can be a .txt or .pdf file.
  • Choose if you want the Program to output separate files for each platform or just one file for all platforms.
  • ** If you choose just one file you will need to select your output file, this is where you want platform results saved to.
  • Leaving the Get Root PR box checked will attempt to grab the PR of the root domain.
  • Leaving Trim urls to root, will trim your link pages to the root domain.
  • Number of threads can be adjusted based on bandwidth and computing power up to 25 threads.
  • Click Process file to begin.
  • The results file you selected above will open when complete

Adding or changing platforms:

A file named filter.txt is included in the Platform Reader folder. It can be opened and modified to add more platforms (currently 68 platforms are supported) or adjust platform footprints to your liking.

The format is
Name##Search phrase — where name is the name of the platform, and search phrase is the on page text to identify the platform type.

Sick Scraper helps you find links for your templates to run in Sick Submitter.

This is a pretty sweet deal guys.  Check out these programs they are 100% free for you to use and hopefully by using them you’ll be able to start seeing the power that the sick submitter has and you’ll know that this is one of the better submitters out there.  Competing software comes with a pricetag of $100+ a month, which is outrageous.  The Sick Submitter does all this at an incredibly low price.  Check it out guys!
